This place is consistently good. I've been coming here for about 10 years. I normally get a salad box and add chicken & lamb with greek salad and all the sauces. It's so good and it's always more food than I can eat and I'm bigger than the average person.
I recently dined at Yummy Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The koobideh kebabs were exceptionally flavorful and juicy, cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning. It’s clear that they use high-quality ingredients. The highlight of my meal was the local yogurt drink, which was incredibly refreshing and had a wonderfully authentic taste that perfectly complemented the kebabs. The service was prompt, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Yami Restaurant to anyone looking for delicious, authentic food.
I was first introduced to donair by a Persian gym buddy who suggested this Northshore restaurant to tackle some major hunger after a Gym session. I'd heard of donair Mediterranean vertical barbecue before but had never been. Always down for well-seasoned and spicy food, the first taste of Yummy's mixed beef and lamb donair made me an instant fan. Beyond the very generously sliced barbecued meat, a wide choice of different vegetable ingredients and several sweet and spicy sauce options (garlic, tzatziki, or hot) can be added to the delicous pita bread -- which is very soft, fresh and doesn't break or leak. Many additional condiments are also available at-table for customizable taste: Frank's, Sriracha, Sriracha Mayonnaise, Ketchup etc. A very well-stocked Cooler also contains a ton of beverage choice: soft drinks domestic & imported, juices, bottled waters, iced teas lemonade, red bull & sports drinks. Something for everyone. The interior of Yummy Donair's very ideal corner location on 16th Street is bright and clean with curving stone counters along window, several individual tables for four, and new seating both inside and outside; the adjacent outdoor patio seating area is surrounded by shady trees and shrubs along Hamilton Avenue, ideal for hot Summer weather. Cool Plants and Aquarium, colorful new Mediterranean lighting, well-mixed Spotify playlists, and very Welcoming People make your visit a very pleasant one.
My favourite donair place of all time. Idk what it is, the chicken is just perfect! The prices have gone up over the past couple years. I think they got a solid operation here. I go here like once a week no capppp
We went here after a 5hr hike, did not disappoint . Food tasted like heaven and quantity was a lot. We reheated the food we packed from here the next day, and it still is amazing.
BEST hummus you will ever have! So creamy and delicious. You can buy a large order of it, and the sangak bread that’s given with the platters (and you can order extra for 1) is the best bread! We always order the chicken donair platter supersized and it is such a generous portion for the price! Consistently good food every time. I had to write this review because this is my favourite donair/shawarma joint, the service is great, and they always hook it up! Thanks for everything!
I am a savage for yummy Donair. Been coming here for years. Can’t believe I haven’t rated it before today. Great Donairs and Sagnak bread. Park in the lot on the east side of yummy. Then go to the park. Nice picnic close to home.

I only asked for the garlic sauce and opted out the tahini sauce (to save some calories), and just the garlic sauce alone was super flavorful well priced had their lamb and chicken and they are both tender and soft I prefer the lamb more just cause I like lamb a lot (personal preference only) Cons: too far from me Final Thoughts: My favorite donair place in Vancouver! They really lived up to its name - YUMMY they never failed to disappoint! All my friends are all super impressed this is probably the only fast food place you could take your girl here for a date and impress her I'd be quite impressed anyway Can't wait till snowboard season starts again so I can go back!
